We’re growing in 2024
Riverside Church, we believe that God has presented us with the theme of GROWTH for the next year. We desire for each person at Riverside to grow strong, to grow in grace, and for God to add many to his church.
Here are two key passages to guide us as we seek to glorify the Lord Jesus as we grow in Him.
You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus… 2 Timothy 2:1
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18
As we begin the year, let’s pray together, dedicating and committing ourselves to God. Together, we will ask God to strengthen us in three areas.
We are praying for:
1. People to Grow
2. The Church to be Healthy
3. Our City to Thrive
These are connected. As people grow, the church becomes healthy, and as the church is healthy the city begins to thrive.
